Hainan Airlines will launch a nonstop service between Haikou and Hengyang on January 10, marking the first and only nonstop air connection between the two cities.
The Haikou-based carrier plans to operate the Hengyang service three-times weekly, using Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, flight HU7169 is scheduled to take off from Haikou Meilan International Airport at 8:05 a.m. and land in Hengyang at 9:40 a.m., with return flight HU7170 leaving Hengyang at 10:35 a.m. and reaching Haikou at 12:20 a.m.
Hengyang is the second largest city in Hunan province.
